But That’s ok! When I realized it, I just started wedging and all is well.

I’m not doing any math to see where, exactly, I should be in my knitting-a-sweater-in-one-month challenge, but I think it’s safe to say I’m behind!

If I have 3 balls of yarn and 30 days, I should be going through a ball every 10 days. It’s Day 9 and I am far from the end of the first ball.

The good news is: I have about 6 hours in the car around Thanksgiving and then all the knitting while sitting around with family. So I’m not worried yet.

Remind me I said that when I’m scrambling on Day 29, ok?

I’m knitting the Featherweight Cardigan by Helen Fettig. I spent, oh, an embarrassing amount of time thinking about what yarn I would make this in, before settling on the designer’s own kit. It comes with the fabulously squooshy Malabrigo laceweight, which I got it in Pearl.

I had hoped to share my OWN pictures of the yarn + pattern today, but sadly, it hasn’t arrived yet. While most of the knitters have already swatched and are ready to go, I’m eagerly awaiting delivery!

The good news: USPS tells me it will arrive today! Yay!

No matter how many times I watch it, I’m amazed every time.

Earlier this month I helped my mom plan a Shearing Day for her farm. We sold some tickets, had coffee, cinnamon rolls and yarn. But the main event was the shearing, which my little brother captured in these videos.
