I’m Tara and today I’ll be your tour guide through Yarn EveryDay Month
Yarn Every Day Month is simply a personal challenge to make a little yarn everyday.
Making yarn = dyeing, spinning, shearing a sheep, washing a fleece, growing cotton, etc.
For me, the challenge is to make yarn + document yarn.
For you, the challenge can be whatever you like!
The main community of Yarn Everyday-ers is located on Ravelry.
But you can also share your photos in the Flickr group.
And on Twitter, by using the tag #yarneveryday.
You can also share your Yarn Every Day insights on your own blog and leave a link here in my comments!
I’ll be posting about Yarn Every Day every Friday during April. If you’ve written about Yarn Every Day (and leave the link in the comments), I’ll share your post at the end of my Friday posts.
(my first day of yarn, taken way too late with my new phone)
Throughout the month, we’re going to have chats on Twitter (and maybe in the Ravelry chat room) and just generally be chatting about handmade yarn all the time!
And remember – just because it’s the 2nd of the month doesn’t mean it’s too late to join!
PS. I’m extending the free yarn for a picture of Inside Crochet contest because it seems the magazine isn’t in any of our bookstores yet. I’ll give you all another two weeks to find the magazine, snap a shot and leave the link to the picture.
