Yarn Everday #8

A few days ago, I snapped a quick picture of my dogwood tree as I walked in the house.
Dogwood
On the 8th, for the Yarn Everday Challenge, I pulled together some colors inspired by those flowers:
YEM #8 unspun

Pink, pale green like the center of the flower, cream (dyed with tea) and brown for the branches (also dyed with tea).

YEM #8 on the bobbin
Spun together, they recreate the bit of color and calm that the dogwood adds to my life.

Seriously gorgeous Tara (they yarn and the photos – oh those blossoms!). And a lovely post about your inspiration.

The dogwoods are in full swing over here – possibly one of my most favorite of all my favorite spring things!

I love dogwoods. I had them on my mind earlier in the spring, when I couldn't get to sleep and stayed up to knit one (!). It's lovely to see how you express them in spinning
